You can choose to post a comment in the general discussion forum of the competition or post a comment to an entry.

To Create a Profile:

1. Navigate to www.changemakers.net
2. You are now on the Changemakers homepage. In the top right hand corner of the webpage, click on the text “join/login”
3. If you are already a member, type your username and password in the boxes provided and click the grey button labeled “Login”
4. If you are not already a member, click the blue button labeled “Join”
5. This will take you to the profile registration page. Fill in your information in the boxes provided. All fields labeled “required” must be filled in
6. When finished, click the grey button labeled “Register your new profile now”
7. You will now see your Changemakers profile page
8. To enter the University Challenge you must place the name of your university and your current collegiate status in the signature box on your profile
9. To do this click on the tab labeled “Account Settings” just above your name
10. This will bring you to the account settings page. Scroll down to the small blue box labeled “Comment settings”
11. Type the full name of your university in the box below the word “signature”
12. Then type your collegiate status as, current: student, faculty, staff or alumni (Example: University of Changemakers, current student)
13. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the grey button labeled “submit/save”
14. You are now ready to comment

To post a comment in the general discussion forum:

1. Login to www.changemakers.net
2. Navigate to the competition page
3. Click on the link “Discuss this competition”
4. You will find a list of different discussion threads.
1. You can read a comment by clicking on its link
2. Or, you could click on the link “General Discussion of this Competition” on the top of the list and see all the discussion comments starting from the newest post
5. You can start a new discussion thread by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and filling out the box below “Post New Comment”
6. Then you can click on “Preview Comment” to revise your text before posting it, or you can directly choose to click on “Post Comment” to publish your submission
7. You could also reply to other comments by clicking on the “Reply” button below the thread you are interested in
8. You can always come back to a comment and edit it by login in and clicking the link “Edit” below your submission
9. If someone replies to your comment you will receive a notification by email
10. If you would like to share an interesting submission with others, please use the “Email this comment” link below the comment

To post a comment to a particular entry:

1. Login to www.changemakers.net
2. Navigate to the competition page
3. Click on the link “Read all entries received”
4. Go to the entry you would like to post a comment to
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the entry page and fill out the form below “Discussion about this entry”
6. Then you can click on “Preview Comment” to revise your text before posting it, or you can directly choose to click on “Post Comment” to publish your submission
7. You could also reply to other comments by clicking on the “Reply” button below the thread you are interested in
8. You can always come back to a comment and edit it by logging in and clicking the link “Edit” below your submission
9. If someone replies to your comment you will receive a notification by email
10. If you would like to share an interesting submission with others, please use the “Email this comment” link below the comment
