Jackie Lauff's Profile

About Jackie Lauff

This is how Jackie is a Changemaker:
I've recently completed a master thesis titled "Developing Country Participation in International Disability Sport Competition: A Historical Perspective". This paper analysis the participation of all of the developing countries in the Summer and Winter Deaflympics, Paralympics and Special Olympics World Games from 1991 to 2006. This research was conducted for the Erasmus Mundus Master of Adapted Physical Activity and aims to provide a platform for further research to guide development assistance.

The place for which Jackie feels a fondness or connection:
I have a great love of Suva, Fiji in the South Pacific where I have worked and visited many times.

The change Jackie passionately wants to happen:
I'd like to see more people with a disability who live in developing countries have the choice and opportunity to participate in sport.
