Sherri,
.
Working with you since discovering your business has been a delight and a great encouragement to me personally as well as to the whole network of us innovating around inclusion in tourism.
.
You sold me personally on your approach as you know since we will cruise Glacier Bay Alaska together later this month on the wheelchair accessible Sea Wolf. I talk about your vision and your work everywhere. I found a strong positive response from the adapted sailing community in Brazil last week as I spoke with them. I will promote you even more widely at the South American Adventure Travel Summit this September back in São Paulo.
.
The research you have included in your entry is very informative. I had not been aware of many of the facts of how much better the environmental footprint of a small ship is. I had never thought through the details of how symbiotic the relationship is between isolated coastal populations and their contact and commerce with small ship captains. You make some very important points about sustainable development. They should be more widely known.
.
Of everything you described in your project I am most intrigued by the prospect of you launching a movement to invent new designs and actually build fleets of accessible boats for Boomers as they slow down and for those of us who have spent most of our lives with disabilities.
.
You are truly a Changemaker!

Kudos on filling this need in the charter industry! I'm not aware of other brokers offering such specialized services for travelers in search of handicap accessible vessels. I'm impressed by the great information above as well as that available on your website. I look forward to keeping an eye on your business as it expands to include even more accessible charters. Thanks for bringing your broker expertise to this segment of the traveling population!
