Dear Ntale
I enjoyed reading about your project and congratulations in addressing such difficult issues like HIV/Aids and STDs with youth through sport. I was wondering if your program also targets girls and young women? Are they also involved in the sport activities and how are you addressing the specific needs and problems. I run Women Win, a new foundation that gives financial support to groups working to promote women and girls’ empowerment through sport. We have seen that sport is a very strong and successful tool, particularly with our partner organizations in Africa. Have you seen this too in Uganda?
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Astrid Aafjes

Your use of sports to educate youth, contribute to their health and safety, and build up within them respect and a sense of responsibility for the aged and disabled in their midst is praiseworthy, Ntale. We all are well counseled to try to do the same thing, no matter where we live or the sports with which we're involved.
