This is how Dave is a Changemaker:
I want to use surfing the make the world a better place. WAVES for Development helps coastal communities connect surfing and sustainable development though Educational Surf programs for local youth and Adventure Voluntourism programs for visiting travellers.

The place for which Dave feels a fondness or connection:
Peru is a country with it all - mountains, jungle and coast. Having lived there for 3 years with the Peace Corps I feel I have something to offer its people, its environment and its surf industry.

The change Dave passionately wants to happen:
Empower youth to create social enterprises relating to the surf industry. Create opportunities for learning that include surfing. Conserve the planet through our surf programs.
