About ASIT GHOSH

This is how ASIT is a Changemaker:
I have realized through my own life and work that book-knowledge and degrees, which are considered the primary yardsticks of a person's worth and entitlement, is a futile proposition. Human Talents are not all about the academics. Md. Yunus has already proved this fact. The most successful people on this earth, regardless of their sphere of work, at least many of them, have achieved great feats primarily by dint of their attitiudes not acdemics. However, Very little is done about this important aspect of the human personality and development. I am researchimg on this field and am congregating support to raise a world wide movement on this idea. The foundation stone for this massive task has already been set on a modest note on 08.08.08 by establishing an NGO. I have also developed a social network www.attitudeasit.ning.com on 1 May and 150 persons have already joined this network. This social network will offer more insights into my thoughts and ideas. All these are written very humbly, only to convey my commitment for the purpose and not as a measure of publicity.

The place for which ASIT feels a fondness or connection:
Santiniketan, West Bengal where the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore had build the Vishvabharati University. Another Nobel Laureat Mr. Amartya Sen also has his ancestral home and was educated here. This place has been a favourite destination of a large number of world renowned people and educationists who considered Tagore on of the greatest thinkers of the century- to name a few, Gandhi, Roma Rolland, Silvian Levi, Satyajit Roy, Rukmini Devi Arundale, Indira Gandhi and many more. I have voluntarily shifted and settled in small township purely for my love for this place and faith in the ideals of Tagore. I feel blessed for being here.

My Vision is to work for: Changing the world thoughts from academics to attitude. My Mission: TOPPER: Training Ordinary People to Produce Extra-ordinary Results An NGO has been founded on 08.08.08 at New Delhi with 25 sincere, sensitive and established individuals as its Founder.
