About Grant Tudor

This is how Grant is a Changemaker:
Grant joined the Ashoka team as a Changemakers intern in fall of 2007. A native of Southern California, he moved to Washington, D.C. where he is pursuing his B.A. in International Development and International Economics at The George Washington University. He also studied at La Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina, developing his Spanish skills. Grant was originally inspired to be an agent of social change after living and working on sustainable sanitation solutions in an impoverished community in the Philippines during high school. Prior to joining Changemakers, Grant created a global awareness nonprofit in San Diego, Stand, to synthesize social activism with high school education. He is currently launching a microfinance accelerator, ButterflyVenture, connecting students and student organizations at national universities with micro-enterprise entrepreneurs across the developing world. Aside from social change initiatives, Grant is an avid budget-traveler, loves documentaries, and enjoys playing the piano.
