The place for which laurie feels a fondness or connection:
Gled Doll in Scotland is truly the most beautiful and peaceful place on the planet. As you drive towards it the road getts narrower and narrower until you begin to fear any oncoming vehicles. As the road is also becoming more winding, the hills steeper and the banks higher, it truly is a breathtaking journey towards the Glen. you have to then start worrying about sheep and cows on the road. then when you think the road could not possibly get any narrower, steeper or windy, it does. you drive a breathtaking few miles and then the whole world opens up into Glen Doll. Mountains, valley, streams, woodland of such beauty that you forget to breathe for a long moment. What a place!

The change laurie passionately wants to happen:
Violence to become a thing of the past. So that we all look back in horror and say, 'oh my god, look at what people used to do to each other back in the dark ages!'
