This is how Raj is a Changemaker:
In 2002, I started Nepal's first tour operation started with the concepts on Corporate Social Responsibility and working wholly in the area of Responsible Travel. Since then, we have been nominated twice for the Responsible Tourism Awards in the UK, and in 2008, have been nominated for the TravelMole Web Awards.

The place for which Raj feels a fondness or connection:
Nepal. What can I say about Nepal? Its absolutely fabulous!

The change Raj passionately wants to happen:

Currently: in Ghana, Africa to start African part of the company. Also working as a "Sustainable Tourism" Consultant. 2002 till date: Founder Director, socialtours.com travels & socialtreks.com adventures 2005-06: Executive Director, Nepal River Conservation Trust 2006 till date: Board of Directors, Namaste Nepal. 1996-2002: Different senior level positions in Eternal Weave P Ltd. (a knitwear factory employing 1000 people) madeinnepal.com (an export manufacturing solutions company) 1994-1996: Export Director, Association for Craft Producers 1993-94: Research Excecutive, MARG Nepal Pvt. Ltd. 1991-93: PGDRM (Institute of Rural Management, India)
