About Jessica Ebbeler
Bio
I am a gender specialist, currently working for the Millennium Challenge Corporation as a program officer. I focus on assisting partner countries to develop proposals to include and address gender integration, HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, and child labor risk mitigation. Previously I worked as a consultant for the Coalition for Adolescent Girls focusing on best practices of interventions for girls in the areas of education, economic empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, and early child marriage. I also worked as a gender specialist for the World Bank analyzing the financial requirements for investment in Millennium Development Goal 3: Achieving Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, and subsequent country government investments. I have worked with the US Department of Labor International Bureau on issues related to child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking, and spent time in Nigeria working with a grassroots women's organization advocating for women's rights and combating human trafficking. I have a Master of Public Policy in International Policy and Development and a Certificate of Refugee and Humanitarian Emergencies.
