Thank you, Lys Anzia, for your work in raising awareness of trafficking issues pertaining to women.
I particularly am pleased to see the depth of information you have provided on existing partnerships and financial data for your organization. I watched a few of the videos on your website and was both touched and alarmed. I recognize the importance of allowing a space for those women directly affected by these kinds of human rights abuses to tell their stories, making human trafficking a reality for those who might think it a myth or that slavery has been abolished absolutely.
Thank you again,
Sarah McRae

Thanks Sarah. Yes, I agree. The media needs desperately to push out in-depth narratives by global disadvantaged women who have been in contact with trafficking and slavery inside their communities. The media needs to LISTEN to the voices of women -- who better than women to tell this story?
Thank you Laura for bringing light to the great need for media to cover the stories on women and trafficking. If everyone realized that the trafficking of women is happening each and every hour around the globe the impact of this would bring real changes and help. We have a joint responsibility to get out these stories for women who have been trafficked in every way possible.

I just finished reading your entry and then went immediately to your website and have to admit I am feeling very inspired. Giving a face and voice to this issue is an important and powerful way to raise awareness of this issue. Bearing witness to these events and allowing women to tell their stories prevents the rest of us from turning a blind eye and pretending it isn't happening. I commend you efforts. Great job!
