I also recommend you read through the other "entrants" in this contest as there are many whose ideas and programs may be capable of adaptation by your group and allow your efforts to expand even more.

Michael: To further support Pius' comments, you may have already noted that there's yet another, fairly recent addition to this Changemakers initiative on this page, that came in on 3/13 from a project in So. Sudan, with similar approaches, ideas and needs.
We've also already made an effort to get that project strategically aligned with another of our "Social Entrepreneur" member groups (and also a Changemakers participant) that works in/serves Sudan from their headquarters base in Kenya.
As I noted to the directors of those kindred projects, we've found in our decade of worldwide experience that - just as the younger generations are able to pick up on other new technologies (notably use of the Computer & all its offshoots) - so they more quickly pick up on & accept new approaches to/innovations in alternative water purification, sanitation & other pro-health, life saving applications.
The sharing of both innovative ideas/materials in such efforts would be most beneficial to all; even if you put a nominal charge for use of your materials, to cover costs plus allow your Non-Profit to do even more in developing innovative approaches to these critical need areas.
WHAI {i.e., the "Purifying the World, One Drop at a Time" participant), I know, would be most interested in exploring this avenue with you & or others working with this dynamic approach, in some way.
Thanks for the innovation. Its a good one and I feel that eqquiping the youth especially students, will help you reach the communities better. The youth have always been a good channel for knowledge and skill sharing so take it up seriosly. Students can also be good volunteers which will definately minimise on your financial barrier. Otherwise if possible you could share with me some of your training manuals or literature. I intend to deal with local communities torwards water and sanitation programmes.
kind regards,
