What is your signature innovation, your new idea, in one sentence? Sport is an important aspect in modern democratic processes
Describe your innovation. What makes your idea unique and different than others doing work in the field? Sport has been taken literally to mean" social and employment opportunity and not as a peaceful force for democracy
What are the existing barriers, the biggest problem, your innovation is hoping to address/change? The engagement of people of different political opinions to participate peacefully through sport
Delivery Model: How do you implement your innovation and apply it to the challenge/problem you are addressing? The encouragement of different people of different opinions to form different sporting disciplines to compete socially
How do you plan to grow your innovation? Through support from different stakeholders
Provide one sentence describing your impact/intended impact. peaceful democratic participation
What impact has your innovation had to date/or what is your intended impact? Exactly who are the beneficiaries? The innovation is still a case study and is intended to create a peaceful environment for participating in election processes.The current beneficiaries will be refugees and political victims

What are the main barriers to creating or achieving your impact? Non commitment by political leaders
How is your initiative financed (or how do you expect your initiative will be financed)? The initiative is not funded as of now
If known, provide information on your finances and organization. The organisation works with a small budget of $50 000. Hasn't generated income.3Fultime staff,2parttime and 2volunteers
What is the potential demand for your innovation? Funding and sporting equipment including gym equipment
What are the main barriers to financial sustainability? Our beneficiaries cannot afford to contribute or pay annual membership fees
What is the origin of this innovation? Tell us your story. discovering that most of the activits for democracy participate in violent political activities. After be displaced they interact, but this interaction is not solidified through sport

I have been an activit since 1990, Fighting for an even political environment in which every one can participate without fear in zimbabwe.A member of different civic organisation in Zimabwe and current cooordinator of the Zimbabwe Political Victims Association(ZIPOVA) based in South Africa

this sounds interesting, tell us more! I don´t know a lot about Zimbabwe. What are those different groups you´re talking about and how do you bring them together through sport?
