I myswelf work as a social worker with the tribal communities in the state of Jharkhand in India. The people are extremely poor, with virtually no facilities. There is no technolgy penetration except 2 things - bicycles and mobile phones. Isn't it amazing?

And how people there charge mobile phones? The community has set up centers with batteries and accumulaotrs; and charge 50 Paise to 2 Rupees to charge a mobile phone. Community try to access the content which is free, in their own language, and well promoted.

I must congratulate ZMQ guys for doing an excellent job by delivering mobile games to create HIV/AIDS in the most rural areas of India. I have myself played 3 out of 4 available games. The games disseminate information to create awareness, tells about HIV transmission, prevention and helps in removing myths and misconceptions. It increases your general knowldege on HIV which is very important for semi-literate or lesser educated communities. At the same time, the games are equally engaging and keeps the fun intact.

Let me ask people a question which I have picked from the Babu Quiz- one of the mobile games they have on HIV/AIDS. The question is: What is the earlie name of AIDS?

Can some one reply on the discussion group. Let me give a clue: G _ _ _

      Good Luck
